Linda Halloran

Linda Halloran

Linda Halloran

Linda established the Personal Placement agency in 1998 after working in the admissions department at a local skilled nursing facility.  She saw there were no resources in place to help seniors discharge from a nursing home or rehab center and move on to a more homelike setting of assisted living/personal care.  Families did not know what to do or where to turn.  Therefore, Linda created an agency to help, to provide information, and to walk families through the entire process all at no cost to them.  She is privileged and honored each year to help many seniors find their new home.

Linda lives in the north hills of Pittsburgh and earned her communications degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  Prior to her work in the nursing facility she held a position in public relations with Philips Respironics, a global leader in manufacturing medical equipment. She is a member of S.W.A.P. (Social Workers in Aging Practice) and maintains excellent relationships with all of the facilities in the region.  She attends educational seminars, webinars and networking meetings to stay current on personal care and assisted living regulations and trends in the senior living industry.

The senior living search can be overwhelming for seniors and their families, and most people do not know where to begin.  Linda is passionate about working with families and guiding them through the process step by step.  Drawing from her extensive experience and knowledge of the industry, the region and facilities, her goal is to identify the absolute best communities for the senior, within budget, and help make the transition as smooth as possible.

Karen Reep

Karen Reep

Karen Reep

Karen lives in Butler and holds a degree in logistics from Pennsylvania State University. She joined Personal Placement in 2000 as the office manager of the agency.  She held that position for eight years prior to becoming an advisor in 2008.  She attends seminars, networking meetings and various marketing events in an effort to remain abreast of evolution within the industry and to maintain professional relationships as well.

Karen recognizes that this decision for a family is an emotional decision, a financial decision, and a medical decision all at the same time.  Families cannot simply use a booklet listing hundreds of personal care and assisted living facilities and know where and how to begin.  People enjoy working with Karen because she can streamline the entire process based upon the specific criteria of each situation.  Her strengths include excellent communication, clear explanation of terminology, and efficiency, in addition to providing a pleasant and professional experience for families right up to the move-in day.

With the large number of senior living communities in the region, it can be an overwhelming task for families to find an appropriate home for their loved one. Taking into consideration all the factors involved in making this important decision, Susan will guide her families through this difficult time. Her key strengths are her ability to listen and understand your needs, as well as excellent communication skills, thus providing her clients with an exceptional experience.
